I met Deji on the 28th of June 2020 at a friend’s (Jidaz) birthday gathering.

Jidaz had introduced us and we instantly hit it off. When it was time to take pictures with the celebrant, Deji had asked to take a picture with me and I agreed (anything for my fans lol).

We added each other on Snapchat and spent the rest of the night talking and we realised we had the same sense of humour and a lot in common, I had also dropped one of the best “Don’t Leave me” jokes on him so not shocked he fell in love on the spot lool.

The day after the party I had asked a few friends who were mutual friends to Deji about him and the kind of person he is and everyone had nothing but good things to say about him, it also came up a few times as to how much of a good dancer he is (y’all aren’t even ready for the steps on the wedding day tbh, my man is really a stepper).

I noticed this man still had not messaged me and had not sent me the pictures we took the day before so I messaged him saying “Hello Hi, why are you holding my pictures hostage?”. He laughed and said I had stolen his line as he was hoping to start a conversation using these pictures but he was trying to play it cool.

Later that day, he rang me on the phone and everyone knows I’m a phone call girl and we ended up staying on a call laughing until 4am. Wasn’t long before we planned our first date for the 11th of July 2020 and we had so much fun together.

Due to the lockdowns at the time of COVID-19 we weren’t able to meet up as often as we would’ve liked as we also both lived in different counties. However we carried on getting to know each other via FT calls and soon enough it felt like we had known each other forever.

On the 18th of September 2020, Deji officially asked me to be his girlfriend as of course I said yes. We’ve since gone through life together, sharing multiple experiences as well as growing to know each other and our families.

On the 2nd of February 2024 Deji officially asked me to marry him and I said yes!! We also legally got hitched on the 2nd of November 2024 and cannot wait to get married Traditionally and in front of all our loved ones on the 18th of September 2025 exactly 5years since we started dating.
